Today Derek (Elder Stott) left the MTC to get on a plane for Morristown NJ. This morning he got to call us from the airport and cautch up. I couldn't really tell you what we all said for those 30 or so minutes. A little of this and a little of that but it was so good just to hear his voice. I do, however, remember him barring his testimony to us in Spanish. It was heart warming. I could tell he was a little nervous but impressive nonetheless. It will be excited to see/hear how that has changed when he calls at Christmas. Yes I am thinking that far ahead.

This is so exciting. I can't even imagine what it is like to have a son on a mission. Hopefully, I will find out in 6 years.
